| Family Resources Program |
 |
Promotes the acquisition and distribution of resource to families in the South Minneapolis area. In addition, the program offers multiple services that address the basic needs and self reliance of families and individuals.
Basic Needs Services
Sabathani Food Shelf - Serving South Minneapolis residents within the following boundaries East of 35W -Lake Street to Crosstown/62;West of 35W-32nd Street to Crosstown/62. Lyndale to Hiawatha.
Clothing Room - Clothing and household items available. *people are elegle to go the clothing shelf four times a month.
Choice Boutique - Clothing for job success by referral and appointment only. |

Self-reliance Services
Transitional Housing - Housing available for stabilizing homeless families in a structured short-term program that provides a safe 2 bedroom apartment with case-management and relocation services towards permanent housing.
Furniture Program - Acquisition and redistribution of used furniture, appliances and household items on availability.
Community Garden - Seasonal garden plots available March - October annually.
Special Services - Special Food Shelf Services, Back-to-School program, annual holiday services.
Tax Service - Every Saturday during Februrary and March. The first two Saturdays in April and only the third Saturday each month - May, June, July. 2nd Saturday in August. Must meet income guidelines. |
Donations
- Pick ups available on a limited basis within the 494/694 circle.All applicance no older than five years.
- furniture and clothes must be in clean, usable condition.
