Ernest Johnson, Executive Director: Ernest Johnson joined Sabathani as Chief Operating Officer in October of 2001. Prior to joining Sabathani, he served in management at US West Communications for 26 years in customer service, telecommunications, marketing and sales. Ernie came to Sabathani from Neighborhood House of St. Paul, where he held the position of Director of Human Resources. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from Central Missouri State University, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

Bob Lay, Horizons Youth Program Manager: Bob has a B.A. in Secondary Education from Gustavus Adolphus, and has completed graduate work at the University of Minnesota . During the past 20 years, he has worked in various capacities in community-based education programs, including work as a resident counselor in prison/community rehabilitation, as well as child development with the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Art Serotoff, Health and Wellness Manager: After 12 years as Funds Distribution Director at the United Way of Minneapolis , Art began work at Sabathani as Programs Director in 1996. He currently heads Sabathani's new Health and Wellness Initiative. Art has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Cornell University in Ithaca New York , and a Masters of Science degree in Educational Psychology-Evaluation and Measurement from New York University . |

Sandra Richardson, Family Resources Program Manager: Sandra grew up and lives in the Sabathani neighborhood. After a successful 15 year career as a case manager for Ascension Place, and manager of Catholic Charities' Family Shelter, Sandra turned her talent to independent consulting. Her specialties include organizational development, inter-cultural communication and mediation, team building, large and small group facilitation, management coaching and undoing racism.

Georgia Marinkov-Omorean, Senior Center Program Manager:
Georgia Marinkov-Omorean joined the Sabathani family in 1977 as a part-time, Public Relations Specialist. Upon her graduation from the University of Minnesota, School of Social Work, she became the first Director of the newly formed Sabathani Senior Center in 1979. Ms Marinkov-Omorean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work, is a Minnesota Licensed Social Worker, a Certified Fitness Instructor and dancer with the Izvorasul Romanian Dance Ensemble of Minnesota. |

Michael Miller, Human Resources Director: Michael joined Sabathani in 2007 after a 28-year career at Xcel Energy as Human Resources Director. Michael specialized in staff recruiting, employee relations, diversity and Affirmative Action. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a B.A. in Social Work and an M.A. in Human Resources/Industrial Relations.

Elaine Dyer, Facility Manager: Elaine Dyer joined the organization in 1999 as Facility Manager after 30 years of experience in various facets of the construction field. She has degrees in building technology, business administration, and computer science. Additionally, she has completed two sessions of community leadership training with the Center for Nonprofit Management at the University of St. Thomas, and is a licensed contractor in the state of Minnesota. |

Chai Yang, Technology Systems Manager: Chai came to Sabathani with 10 years of technology experience, ranging from managing servers to networking to support end users for both in Apple and Windows computers. He also has 7 years of managing PBX Phone Systems, including Voice over IP. Prior to working at Sabathani, Chai worked for eight years as Technology Systems Manager at Neighborhood House in St. Paul. He received his B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology from the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud and also holds an AAS degree from Globe College of Business, Minneapolis in Network Systems Engineering.

Soren Jensen, Director of Development: Soren joined Sabathani in 2007. He has more than fifteen years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, including positions with the United Way , American Heart Association, National Parks Conservation Association, and the American Red Cross. He is also a former employee of Target Corporation, where he managed the United Way campaign and volunteer activities for employees of Dayton 's, Marshall Field's, and Hudson 's department stores. A graduate of the University of Iowa in Communications and Psychology, Soren recently completed his M.A. in Nonprofit Management at Hamline University in St. Paul . |

James Stillman, Business Manager: Jim joined Sabathani in 2007 with 30 years of experience in the financial field. He has over 10 years experience in nonprofit fiscal management and consulting. Jim moved to Minneapolis in 1996 from Duluth , MN where he earned a Business Administration/Accounting Degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth .
